Deborah’s fascination with design and architecture goes back to childhood. She loved to design and “build” rooms out of boxes, styrofoam, construction paper, popsicle sticks. Fast forward 20+ years and after a 9-year career in teaching, she ventured into the world of real estate, earning her Realtor’s license in September 2004. In 2011, during the real estate slowdown, she decided to explore her creative side and became a kitchen & bath designer at a local cabinet store. That experience definitely renewed the “design bug” in her. In 2017, she embarked on a year-long program through LSU to earn her Certificate in Construction Project Management. She brings 16 years of real estate experience to Nest Custom Homes, enabling her to both design homes that will sell, and to guide buyers in the process of designing a home that will work for them, but also keeping resale in mind. From designing the floorplans to selecting finishes, she enjoys each step of the construction project. Deborah is on the job site daily, monitoring all projects so that a superior end product is achieved.

Bryan is an integral part of Nest Custom Homes. While he is a full-time employee with the Louisiana National Guard (and veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom), in the evenings and on his days off he is dedicated to Nest’s mission of providing a unique, custom touch to each home we build. No matter what crazy ideas (!) Deborah comes up with, Bryan finds a way to make them “come to life.” He tags himself as Nest’s “assistant trim carpenter,” but he is so much more. The operation couldn’t function without all of the (literal) “heavy-lifting" he does.
